This month starts the official countdown to Fashion Community Week SF (FCWSF) which will take place September 20th-24th, 2017 in the heart of San Francisco. With three consecutive years of global success, I am honored to announce that I will not only be a Media Correspondent for VRAI Magazine during the weeks proceedings I’ll also be Hosting “Couture for a Cause” at the Clift Hotel on September 23rd.
Fashion Community Week is the Global ‘Intersection’ of Fashion in San Francisco, offering a business and marketing platform for Fashion, Beauty and Technology industries abroad. Last year, FCWSF was rewarded for their commitment towards community and fashion by Mayor, Edwin M. Lee of San Francisco. I am honored to contribute to such a recognizable non-profit organization that highlights, not only local, but global designers from Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia, Middle East, and South America.Today, I am wearing MARGE Clothing by Kaersten Cooper a luxury women’s wear line made exclusively for women 5’9” and taller. Kaersten’s custom designs graced FCWSF ‘Couture for a Cause’ in 2016 and I’ve had the previous opportunity to not only interview the flourishing designer for VRAI, but to view both her F/W 2016 & Resort 2017 collections at her San Francisco design studio.
This year’s events will consist of 5-days beginning with an Opening Ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel followed by a series of well-curated Fashion Shows ranging from: Sustainable, Pret-a-porter, Emerging, Tech Designs and Couture. With each event showing at several highly recognizable San Francisco landmarks, you’ll discover each day will convey elegance and unity.
