The winter season is upon us, which allows many to garnish one self in our coziest outerwear. For myself it begins with a chic vintage fur stole accented with a heirloom brooch and Lucite handbag. This particular fur stole is an elegant piece which to this day remains stylish, wrapped around the shoulders of several dress designs new or old.
Today I decided to keep the overall ensemble rather simple, yet classic with the addition of pearls and a gorgeous Lucite top-handle handbag by Kooki De Lou.
Todayโs picture perfect setting is at the historic Heilborn House, an 1881 mansion initially built for August Heilbron, a cattle rancher, merchant, and landowner who came from Germany. In the last 65 years, the mansion has served as a restaurant, bank, and art gallery, and now serves as an office for the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
The Heilborn House is the utmost of historic glamour, and the perfect aesthetic for welcoming the beginnings of the most alluring season of all.
