Known for being glamorous with an Old-Hollywood persona, I surprisingly don’t have a glam squad for any of my photo-shoots or magazine fashion editorials – everything you view is authentically done by myself. I rarely will ever spend more than 20 minutes on beauty when I’m not modelling and have found over the years a number of fool proof techniques.
My introduction to make-up as a young girl (approx. 6) where I remember watching my sister prepare for a number of San Francisco dance rituals. Years later, I found myself at my grandmother’s vanity painting my soft lips with her red lipstick by Revlon, a moment that still holds as a cherished memory. From this I quickly become intrigued on the art of make-up and how it could easily highlight ones natural characteristics. Soon after, I found myself utilizing the women of the 1950’s as my personal role models where glamour was at its zenith.
For me, make-up provides an epitome of confidence and sass. I believe it’s a lot to do with recognizing our natural attributes and accentuate on those features rather than wailing over those we don’t favor. With a belief that less is more, there is no wonder I exclusively wear Belleci Cosmetics. From my impromptu introduction at a Badgley Mischka Bridal Event nearly three years ago a prospering partnership began. I’ve been forever devoted to Belleci Cosmetics Founder & Creator, Stephanie Belleci Manna and her 28 years of experience, not to mention, her advocacy to support women all of ethnicities, age and skin type. With a core belief of what true beauty is she has worked with today’s leading cosmetic companies, plastic surgeons, and dermatologists to create custom foundations for thousands of individual women. I have yet to meet another woman that radiates this rarity of authentic beauty inside and out.
Today, as a Media Relations Representative for Belleci Cosmetics I get to stand by a woman who is not only changing the beauty industry with her Patent Pending Color Control Anti-Aging Custom Foundation System, but with her empowering message to women around the world to BE FABULOUS! BE CREATIVE! BE YOU!
Her triumphant story of failure and success will soon be featured in the San Francisco Chronicle & SFStyle Online where the former Oakland Raiderette and Benefit Make-Up Artist shares the why behind her newly launched product line which is literally changing how women think and do their makeup forever.*Images have not been edited or altered.
