The last time I worn this sheer embossed robe I was literally shedding the shame of diabetes for T1D Exposed Nude advocacy calendar photo-shoot. Since that liberating experience earlier this year at studio 23 with Tara Layman Photography I’ve been waiting for the right moment again to wear it – today is that day.
Wearing nightwear as daywear can be a hit or miss, it all greatly depends on how brave you are and simply how you style it. You can easily slip a sheer robe over a minimalist black dress paired with subtle glitzy accessories to add a dose of European elegances. The key is to own the confidence of boudoir and its sulky demeanor through feeling the power it brings us to embrace our attributes.
Lingerie should never be held captivate until midnight in the bedroom; with the right clutch under your arm it’s a cue that you’re not going to bed rather your evening of luxury has just began.
